Depending on your trip package this may be different, but we always recommend swimwear, sun screen, towel(s), drinks and snacks for the day. Lots of water is a must in the Florida heat.
Alsdorf Park Public Boat Launch is the designated location for pick up. Parking is available for a small fee and has to be paid directly to the park. Please see the machines in the parking lot for details.
USCG regulations limit the passengers to 6 passengers. There are no exceptions to this.
Absolutely! we can make recommendations on local hot spots and as long as time/conditions allow we can go almost anywhere.
The vessel is very stable however if you are prone to seasickness, we recommend motion sickness products and plenty of fluids (water) prior to departure. Our goal is for you to enjoy your trip so we will do what we can to ensure a smooth ride, but we cannot control sea conditions.
Capt. Cabo Mike will collect payment at the end of your trip. We accept all forms of major credit cards and can process your payment from the boat on the way back to the drop off point. If you would like to leave a tip on your credit card you will have an opportunity to do that if you would like
No, tips are not expected however it is customary to tip 18-20% depending on the service you receive. All tips go directly to the crew.
No, what you see is what you get. We don't have fees for fuel usage, cleaning the boat, water, ect. Note: the parking location does charge a fee but that is directly to the city. The price you see for charters is what you pay. You have the option to leave a tip if you received great service.
There are two parking lots at Alsdorf Park, one for vehicles with trailers and one for cars. The car parking lot is the one closest to 14th street. Take a photo of your license plate since the pay to park kiosk will ask for your license number. You may also take an Uber or Lyft and avoid paying to park.
